Broadband Service Agreement

This Broadband Service Order and Agreement (“Service Agreement”) governs high-speed internet, VoIP telephone service, and WISE Wireless Security services (“Services”) provided by WISE Wireless (“Company”) to residential and business customers (“Customer”). By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms in this Agreement and any related documents, including our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Internet Transparency Policy, and Copyright Policy, all available at https://wisewirelessinternet.com.

CUSTOMER ELIGIBILITY.

Customers, whether individuals or businesses, represent that they are at least 18 years old and legally authorized to enter into this Agreement. Business representatives must have authority to bind their organization.

BILLING.

All WISE Wireless services are billed monthly. The following terms apply to all accounts:

  • First Month Free: New customers receive their first month of service free. Billing begins the following month.
  • Invoices Generated: On the 25th of each month.
  • AutoPay Required: All customers must save a valid debit or credit card on file. Bills are auto-drafted on the 1st of each month.
  • Late Status: Payments not completed by the 7th are considered late.
  • Delinquency: Accounts unpaid by the 15th will be marked delinquent.
  • Termination: If full payment is not received by the 1st of the following month, your account may be suspended or terminated without further notice.

Your first bill may include prorated charges for service activation and advance billing for the next month.

You acknowledge you are fully liable for all charges on your account. Acceptance of partial payment does not waive our right to collect the balance due. A “paid in full” note on any payment is not binding. Returned payments may be subject to a processing fee of up to $25 under Texas law.

ADMINISTRATIVE CHARGES.

If payment is not received on time, administrative fees may be applied to cover collection costs, including:

  • Late fees
  • Manual billing interventions
  • Customer service outreach or collections activity
  • Additional statement printing

These charges are not finance fees, but represent fair cost recovery by WISE Wireless. You are responsible for all fees assessed due to non-payment, returned payments, or account interventions.

TRIAL / INTRODUCTORY RATES AND PROMOTIONS.

Promotional pricing or trial periods may be offered at our discretion. These will revert to standard rates unless canceled before the promotional period ends. Cancellations must be submitted by phone or email. You may not extend a promotion beyond its stated term.

BILLING ERRORS.

If you believe your invoice contains an error, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Failure to dispute charges within 30 days waives your right to seek a correction. You must still pay all undisputed portions by the due date. Retroactive adjustments are limited to 90 days from the date the error is discovered.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS.

You agree to keep a valid debit or credit card on file. By submitting payment via card, you authorize WISE Wireless to auto-draft all monthly charges and fees until your account is canceled and settled in full. We are not liable for declined transactions, expired cards, or insufficient funds.

TAXES AND FEES.

All applicable taxes, regulatory fees, or government-imposed charges may be added to your bill. These are subject to change without notice and must be paid in full to maintain service.

OWNERSHIP OF EQUIPMENT – RISK OF LOSS

All broadband internet and VoIP-related equipment provided by WISE Wireless — including but not limited to routers, antennas, subscriber modules, and VoIP devices — remains the exclusive property of WISE Wireless at all times. These units are leased to you as part of your monthly plan and must be returned within five (5) business days of service cancellation. Failure to return leased broadband or VoIP equipment will result in a charge equal to the full replacement value.

Security-related hardware issued under a WISE Protection plan — such as Ring cameras, doorbells, and smart access components — becomes the property of the customer after twelve (12) consecutive months of uninterrupted service. Early termination of WISE Protection before the 12-month threshold will result in a prorated charge for the remaining equipment value, based on the original hardware price.

Customers assume all responsibility for Company-provided hardware after installation, including damage, theft, loss, or misuse. Both leased and soon-to-be-owned hardware are subject to full replacement fees if lost or destroyed.

USE OF EQUIPMENT

Company-owned equipment is intended solely for use with WISE Wireless Services. It may not be moved, modified, resold, or tampered with. WISE Wireless reserves the right to remotely access or update Company-owned gear at any time to ensure service performance or conduct diagnostics.

Technician access may be required for installation, service visits, or equipment retrieval. Unsafe conditions, denied access, or refusal to return gear may result in suspension of service and additional charges. Renters are required to obtain landlord approval before beginning installation involving drilling, mounting, or access point placement.

WISE PROTECTION SECURITY PLANS

WISE Protection is our bundled internet + security camera solution, powered by Ring technology. Both tiers include hardware, cloud setup assistance, and professional installation:

  • Porch Defender – $124.99/month: Includes Ring Doorbell Camera + Essentials Internet Package
  • Property Defender – $149.99/month: Includes Ring Doorbell + Multiple Cameras + Essentials Internet Package

Hardware becomes your property after 12 months of active service. Customers are responsible for linking and managing their own Ring accounts. Subscription add-ons such as Ring Protect plans for video storage are not included and must be purchased separately from Ring.

Upgrading Your Internet Tier: If a customer chooses to upgrade the included internet package (e.g., from Essentials to Enhanced or Premium), they may do so by paying the difference between the included plan and their selected upgrade. For example, upgrading from Essentials ($85) to Premium ($129.99) would result in an adjusted bundle price.

All standard WISE terms apply, including equipment ownership conditions, cancellation penalties, and monthly billing terms.

REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT

All Company-supplied hardware will be repaired or replaced at no charge if malfunction is due to normal wear or product failure. However, customers will be billed the full cost of replacement if damage is caused by abuse, negligence, pets, weather-related events, or unauthorized alterations.

Replacement parts may be used at WISE Wireless’s discretion. If repeated service calls result from customer misuse, additional fees may be added to your account or warranty may be voided.

CUSTOMER-OWNED EQUIPMENT

Customers who provide their own routers, phones, or camera hardware do so at their own risk. WISE Wireless is not responsible for compatibility issues, performance, or configuration of third-party devices. If these devices cause service degradation or prevent successful installation, the customer may be required to switch to Company-provided hardware.

Technician fees apply for troubleshooting customer-provided gear. Any damage or network issues resulting from unsupported hardware will be billed to the customer accordingly.

SOFTWARE AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Software License

To facilitate the use of our Services, WISE Wireless may provide you with software or firmware embedded within our routers, mesh units, security hubs, or VoIP devices. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use this software for the duration of your Service. You may not reverse-engineer, modify, or sublicense it.

SERVICE TERM / TERMINATION

This agreement remains in effect until canceled by either party. WISE Wireless reserves the right to terminate service for nonpayment, policy violations, or misuse. Customer may cancel by phone, email, or in person. Equipment must be returned within 5 business days to avoid additional charges.

If you cancel Ring-powered WISE Protection plans within the first 8 months, you will be charged the remaining prorated balance for the hardware. Cloud storage plans provided through Ring are terminated at time of cancellation. Customers must manage any third-party subscription renewals separately.

WIRELESS APP POLICY

If you use any app provided by WISE Wireless, such as for router management or Wi-Fi analytics, your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. We may gather anonymized analytics to improve service quality. App functionality is not required for basic internet access and is offered as a convenience only.
